it’s so inexplicably moving to me whenever i see fanart of kris in kickass outfits with skirts and shit because in canon it’s heavily implied/much more likely that they have very few options open to them for clothing- hometown doesn’t seem to have a clothes store, they live with their mum who’s a teacher and thus probably not rich (and their dad is flat broke and keeps missing rent), the wistfulness in the “you could wear whatever you want” flavor text, etc. most of their clothes are probably hand-me-downs from asriel. their limited options and relative inability to choose/find good clothes is just another aspect of their life they have no control over- which is their whole problem in this game. they need some control desperately, and it’s so moving to me to see that fans saw their utter lack of drip in canon and thought, not on my watch! and dripped them the fuck out in their fanart💙
